Senior Market Intelligence Analyst

Overview:

• Lead project engagement for CPG clients and be accountable for all reporting and analytics needs
• Evaluate multiple data sources (POS data, Panel Data, Consumption Data) and synthesize this data to draw detailed analysis and insights and provide the story to aid business objectives

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects and few (1-2) smaller engagements and be accountable for all reporting and analytics project on it.
• Deliver bigger and complex projects under supervision of team leader/ manager within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards.
• Work on Business Issue related projects and tasks related to data mining, data synthesizing and presenting of data through charts / graphs
• Evaluate multiple data sources (POS data, Panel Data, Consumption Data) and synthesize this data to draw detailed analysis and insights.
• Create, maintain and update of recurring (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reports for the businesses that one supports. Ensure quality & timely delivery of all Reporting needs.
• Project and engagement feedback process
• Adhere to all the processes around timesheet filling, HR processes, meetings, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong technical knowledge of Syndicated research (Point of Sale / Panel data).
• Expert in using one POS tool (Nielsen Nitro, Answers, IRI, etc.)
• Experience on synthesizing and simplifying large data sets to facilitate analysis
• Ability to manage multiple clients and businesses together.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational/prioritization and communications skills (written and verbal)
• Problem solving skills, Attention to detail, Drive for results and Team playing abilities
• Knowledge of Power BI will be a plus.
• Acquires foundational knowledge and skills in his/her functional area.
• Seeks to understand the principles of service excellence & how to apply them in own area.
• Partners with clients to achieve service excellence through improved processes and systems.

Education:

• Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors/Masters
• Preferred Major Area of Study: Marketing / Market Research
