Lead Decision Architect - Pega Decisioning

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Decision Architect (LDA) - Pega Decisioning, responsible for designing and implementing advanced decisioning solutions using Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH). This role requires deep expertise in adaptive and predictive analytics, decision strategies, and NBA Designer to drive personalized customer engagement. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end decisioning architecture and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the design, elaboration, and implementation of business processes, decisioning strategies, rules, and analytical models (Adaptive, Predictive, VBD, NBA Designer).
• Decisioning Components: Develop and optimize decision tables, scorecards, filters, strategy sets, switches, and ranking models.
• Customer Journey & Profiling: Leverage customer interaction history, profiles, and journeys to enhance next-best-action (NBA) strategies.
• Action & Offer Management: Oversee Action & Offer lifecycle management, including propensity modeling, scoring, and optimization.
• Technical Leadership: Define class structure, hierarchy, and data models to extend the Pega framework.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Pega System Architects to ensure project success.
• Change Management: Assess the impact of change requests, update solution designs, and refine decisioning logic accordingly.
• Deployment & Code Merge: Work alongside Lead System Architects (LSA) to execute deployment, version control, and code-merge activities.
• Continuous Improvement: Ensure timely delivery and optimize existing decisioning strategies to align with business goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
• BE or M.Tech in Information Science/Computer Science.
• Experience:
• 8+ years of overall experience, with a minimum of 4 years in Pega CDH.
• Certification:
• Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (CPDC) is mandatory.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong experience in Pega Decisioning, NBA Designer, Adaptive & Predictive Models.
• Hands-on experience with customer interaction history, propensity modeling, and scoring techniques.
• Ability to create treatment groups, classes, properties, and data elements within Pega.
• Expertise in Pega framework extensions, class hierarchy design, and rule configuration.
• Project Management & Collaboration:
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Engineering Teams.
• Strong ability to collaborate across business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Deployment & Integration:
• Experience with code deployment, version control, and Pega DevOps.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to mentor junior decision architects and contribute to best practices in decisioning design.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Pega AI, Pega Customer Engagement Suite, or related CDH components.
• Prior experience in customer experience analytics, marketing automation, or real-time decisioning.
