Sr. Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and code. As one of the early engineers at Blend India, you will play a crucial role in connecting Blend US and Blend India.
• Work with product managers and UI/UX designers to implement new features and enhancements.
• Design and develop scalable applications focusing on maintenance, resiliency, and robustness.
• Implement responsive user interfaces to ensure a seamless experience across all devices, emphasizing accessibility.
• Identify and resolve software defects and issues promptly.
• Work through the entire software development lifecycle including testing and production maintenance.
• Encourage best practices through involvement in code and design reviews, along with offering mentorship.
• Innovate by proposing new ideas and developing features end-to-end.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7- 11 years of experience in developing high-quality production software.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in back-end development with languages such as Node.js, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience with databases like Postgres, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure software like AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
