Power BI Analyst - Tableau (5-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI and Power Apps Analyst with expertise in Tableau to design, develop, and maintain analytical dashboards and applications that support data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data visualization, and application development, with hands-on experience in Power BI, Power Apps, and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities :

Power BI Development & Reporting :

- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for various business units.

- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, cloud services, and APIs.

- Implement advanced Power BI features such as DAX, data modeling, and Power Query for complex data transformations and calculations.

- Automate report refreshes, data extraction, and distribution processes using Power BI service and Power Automate.

Power Apps Development :

- Develop and maintain custom business applications using Power Apps to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.

- Integrate Power Apps with Microsoft 365 services, Power Automate, and other systems to automate business processes.

- Ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces in Power Apps tailored to specific organizational needs.

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional Power Apps solutions.

Tableau Data Visualization & Reporting :

- Create and manage advanced Tableau dashboards, leveraging complex data sets for in-depth analytics.

- Develop custom data visualizations in Tableau to convey key metrics, trends, and performance indicators to leadership and stakeholders.

- Maintain Tableau data extracts, optimize workbook performance, and ensure data accuracy across multiple sources.

- Collaborate with teams to design Tableau solutions that complement Power BI implementations.

Data Management & Analysis :

- Extract, clean, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI and Tableau for reporting and visualization.

- Perform deep-dive analyses on business data, uncovering trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to help stakeholders make informed decisions.

- Ensure data governance and compliance practices are followed when working with sensitive business data.

Collaboration & Training :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data engineers to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

- Train end-users on how to interact with Power BI, Power Apps, and Tableau dashboards and applications.

- Assist in developing documentation and best practices for Power BI, Power Apps, and Tableau use within the organization.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Tableau, focusing on developing dashboards and business applications.

- Strong proficiency in Power BI with expertise in DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and advanced visualizations.

- Hands-on experience building Power Apps applications and integrating them with Power Automate and other Microsoft services.

- Proficiency in Tableau, with a strong understanding of advanced data visualization techniques and best practices.

- Experience with SQL, databases, and working with large datasets for analysis.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in handling data.

Preferred Certifications :

- Microsoft Certified : Power BI Data Analyst Associate.

- Microsoft Certified : Power Platform App Maker.

- Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Desktop Certified Professional.
