As a Sr.Software Engineer, you will join the team responsible for delivering the next generation high- volume, fault-tolerant, and scalable transaction processing system for Blackhawk. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of skills and experience utilizing Java/Python, web service/rest based APIs, and database technologies. • Develop cloud-based transaction-processing solutions using traditional and emerging technologies.
• Develop products that perform, scale, are highly available and fault tolerant with automated failover capabilities.
• Create understandable and automated product deployment mechanisms for development, QA, and production environments.
• Participate in standard scrum process including daily stand-up meetings, iteration planning, story grooming, etc.
• Interface with product architects, product owners, and other stakeholders Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Java/Python application development on building services/web portals.
  • 1+ years of hands on development and design experience on transactional data processing
  • 2+ years of hands on development experience in multithreaded programming.
  • Experience on (TDD) Test Driven Development while support BDD (Behaviour Driven Development and ATDD (Acceptance Test-Driven development) methodologies
  • Build products that perform, scale, are highly available and fault tolerant with automated failover capabilities.
  • Expert knowledge in service-oriented architecture and REST service knowledge.
  • Strong OOPS concept and development skills
  • Experience reviewing code and driving great development practices.
  • Demonstrated track record of on-time, on-budget software release with high quality.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services is must.
  • Able to work autonomously.
  • Experience in delivering projects with Agile, Scrum
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative problem solver and excellent communicator
  • Fintech or payment industry experience a plus
  • Hands on Experience on AWS Cloud a plus
  • Knowledge on UI HTML,CSS, JavaScript & UI frameworks like reactjs & angularjs a plus
