Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Strategy:
- Develop and implement the overall talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's goals, culture, and growth trajectory.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to understand talent needs and design recruitment strategies to meet them.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize recruitment strategies to ensure effectiveness and adaptability in a dynamic IT environment.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing talent acquisition team to meet recruitment targets while fostering professional development and engagement.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for the talent acquisition team, ensuring continuous progress toward goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the team, focusing on results-driven - recruitment efforts.
Sourcing & Recruitment:
- Oversee the sourcing, selection, and recruitment process for a wide range of IT roles, including developers, engineers, architects, product managers, and other technical and non-technical positions.
- Leverage innovative sourcing strategies, including social media, networking, job boards, and talent communities, to attract high-quality candidates.
- Ensure a seamless, positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to offer acceptance.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience:
- Build and promote a strong employer brand, ensuring the company is perceived as an employer of choice in the competitive IT sector.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling employer brand messaging and recruitment campaigns.
- Ensure that candidates have a positive and consistent experience throughout the recruitment process, reflecting the company's values and culture.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
- Drive initiatives to attract diverse talent and foster a culture of inclusivity within the organization.
- Implement strategies to ensure fair and unbiased recruitment practices and that the workforce reflects the diverse communities we serve.
Recruitment Analytics & Reporting:
- Develop and track key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate quality, and hiring manager satisfaction, and report findings to senior leadership.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve the recruitment process and make informed decisions to optimize hiring practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand department-specific talent needs, and guide them through the recruitment process.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent acquisition trends, market intelligence, and hiring best practices.
Recruitment Technology & Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in recruitment, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), AI-driven recruitment tools, and recruitment marketing platforms.
- Leverage recruitment technologies and automation to improve efficiency and streamline the hiring process.
Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with all legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Implement best practices in recruitment and selection to maintain the company's high standards and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role within the IT or technology sector.
- Proven experience in building and executing end-to-end recruitment strategies for technical and non-technical roles in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of IT roles and the talent landscape in the tech industry.
- Experience with advanced sourcing techniques and leveraging various recruitment platforms and tools.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and scaling high-performing talent acquisition teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
- Deep understanding of recruitment metrics, data analysis, and how to apply insights to improve hiring strategies.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR software, and recruitment tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead cross-functional teams, and maintain a results-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and best practices in recruitment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing recruitment for both technical (e.g., developers, engineers) and non-technical roles (e.g., HR, marketing, sales) within the IT space.
- Familiarity with recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies.
- Experience in driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within recruitment.
