Manager/Senior Manager - Finance Controllership - Big4 - CA (10-13 yrs)

We are hiring for the role of Finance Controller, for Big 4!

Role: Manager / Senior Manager - Controllership

Role Description and Ideal candidate:

- This role will be responsible for overseeing statutory and Internal audit of the group including all legal entities and consolidation as per IndAS.

- Ideal candidate should have expert knowledge in IndAS Financial preparation and should be able to lead and close all audits and due diligences in a timely manner for the group.

- Should be able to ensure firm is audit ready and balance sheet is clean and reconciled for the group.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support statutory and internal audits by providing requisite explanations and assistance to the auditors to ensure timely resolution and completion of audits without any qualifications and maintain repository of all audit related data and financials.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor the progress of corrective actions.

- Quarterly/Yearly Preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with IND AS.

- Review of Trail balance before each month end and ensure month end closing activity is completed within time.

- Review balance sheet accounts reconciliations regularly, review of policies and procedures regularly to ensure sound controls around financial transaction processing and reporting with clear focus on implementing best practices and developing SOP's.

- Participate in the development and maintenance of internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.

- Ensure development of SOP's for all critical processes within the team.

- Update on Regulatory changes periodically to senior Management.

- Act as a controller for all requests for changes and support in SAP and support team in resolution of any SAP related issues faced by them.

- Compliance in relation to issue of shares for obtaining the valuation reports etc.

Qualification and Skills:

- Chartered accountant with 10 years' Experience

- Sound knowledge of IND AS.

- Work experience on accounting software like SAP is an added advantage. Well versed with MS Excel, word and PowerPoint.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
