Project Manager - Agile Methodologies (6-8 yrs)

Role Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our growing team.

As a key member of our project delivery organization, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage project budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to industry best practices and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Planning & Execution :

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders (Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, etc.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans using project management tools (e.g. , Jira, Asana, Monday.com).

- Manage project budgets and financials, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

Risk & Issue Management :

- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.

- Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential challenges.

- Track and monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and take corrective actions as needed.

Team Leadership & Management :

- Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure team effectiveness and development.

- Facilitate team meetings, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Stakeholder Management :

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal teams (development, QA, design), and senior management.

- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders through regular status reports, presentations, and other appropriate channels.

- Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction.

Quality Assurance :

- Ensure adherence to project quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

- Conduct regular project reviews and ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.

Continuous Improvement :

- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies.

- Identify and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the IT industry, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).

- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.

- Experience managing large-scale enterprise projects with complex technical requirements.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

- Experience with project management tools (e.g. , Jira, Asana, Monday.com).

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira.

- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

- Six Sigma or Lean certification
