The Assistant Vice President (VP) of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies and campaigns to effectively position our products and services in the market.
This role will lead a high-performing marketing team, collaborate closely with the sales department, and utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies.
The AVP will also manage market research, ensuring accurate short- and long-term market forecasts, while aligning marketing efforts with business objectives to drive leads and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development: Design and implement innovative marketing plans and campaigns that differentiate and position our products/services effectively in the market.
- Team Leadership: Build, manage, and coach a high-performing marketing team.
- Set clear goals, track performance, and foster a collaborative environment.
- Campaign Implementation: Drive and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns that align with business objectives, generate leads, and increase brand awareness.
- Market Research & Analysis: Direct the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data to produce actionable insights.
- Provide short- and long-term market forecasts and reports for strategic decision-making.
- Sales and Marketing Alignment: Collaborate closely with the sales department to ensure alignment of sales and marketing strategies, ensuring both teams are working toward common goals.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze marketing data, performance metrics, and customer feedback to optimize strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement by adjusting campaigns based on insights.
- Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget and ensure effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI from all campaigns.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing materials, campaigns, and communication channels.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in a leadership marketing role, preferably as Head of Marketing in the IT industry.
- Campaign Management: Demonstrated success in running and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive business results.
- SEO/SEM Expertise: Solid knowledge of SEO, SEM, web analytics, and Google AdWords.
- CRM Software Proficiency: Experience using CRM software to track and optimize marketing efforts.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and drive a team toward success.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools to generate insights and optimize strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
- Self-Motivation & Integrity: Highly self-motivated, results-driven, with a high level of accountability and integrity.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and tactics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
