Vice President - Engineering

Your responsibilities will include : Key Responsibilities :

1) Technical Leadership :

- Define and execute the long-term technical vision for the company.

- Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled engineers.

- Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

2) Product Development :

- Collaborate closely with product managers and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.

- Ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of our applications.

3) Team Building and Management :

- Recruit, hire, and develop top engineering talent.

- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.

- Implement effective engineering practices, such as code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.

4) System Architecture and Design :

- Design and implement robust and scalable system architectures.

- Ensure the security and reliability of our systems.

- Optimize performance and reduce technical debt.

5) Infrastructure and Operations :

- Oversee the management of our infrastructure, including cloud platforms, servers, and databases.

- Implement effective monitoring and alerting systems.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and operations.

Qualifications and Experience :

1) Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software engineering principles and practices.2) Proven experience leading engineering teams in a fast-paced, startup environment.3) Preferred, if you have experience of working and scaling in E-commerce or Inventory driven business.4) Experience with building and scaling large-scale distributed systems.5) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.6) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.7) Experience with modern technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, Python, AWS, GCP, Azure).8) A passion for innovation and a desire to build cutting-edge products.
