Job Description

As a Manager/Senior Manager of Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing the HR function and providing strategic guidance to the company's leaders. You will lead a team of HR professionals and collaborate with other departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the organization's goals.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full HR function, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
  • Develop and manage the HR budget and ensure that all HR activities are cost-effective.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's goals and values not limited to HR processes, Talent Management, employee development programs, employee relations, industrial relations etc.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute the company's human resources strategy.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues.
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Develop and implement the organization's talent management strategy, in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
  • Develop and implement succession planning strategies to ensure the organization has a pipeline of future leaders.
  • Lead the company's performance management process, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations with unions and manage the collective bargaining process. Develop and implement grievance management procedures to ensure that employee concerns are addressed effectively.
  • Attend to the labour matters with the labour department, courts etc and update senior leadership.
  • Manage routine staff issues and set up disciplinary committee for serious cases for further prompt actions within the defined deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance under trainings, POSH, GDPR or any other regulations introduce from time to time. Managing records and database of all such compliances.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with Central, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and manage the talent management budget and ensure that all activities are cost-effective.
  • Develop talent management tools and technologies, including performance management systems and learning management systems.
  • Set performance management process, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
  • Develop and implement employee recognition and rewards programs that align with the organization's goals and values.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and buildup collaborative approach.
  • Develop and manage the performance management budget and ensure that all activities are cost-effective.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management-related issues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on performance management and career development.
  • Oversee the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the company's HRMS.
  • Ensure data management and data authenticity, upgrade HRMS to meets the needs of the business and its employees
  • Develop and implement HRMS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR and IT teams, to ensure the smooth operation of the HRMS.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HRMS-related issues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on HRMS and related technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with central, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Regulation of the airport prescribed by DGCA, Airport operator, BCAS, CISF, Polic, Customs, Immigrations, DRI etc.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of English and Hindi is mandatory
  • At least 8 years of experience in human resources, with at least 5 years preferred in AVIATION/HOSPITALITY/RELATED INDUSTRIES
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of labour legislations, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage HRMS systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with HRMS tools and technologies, including HR management software, payroll systems, and other related applications.
