Medico Marketing Head ( Vaccine & Pharma Divisions)

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct and drive overall medico marketing activities related to the Vaccine and Pharma Divisions.

DEMOGRAPHICS & SCOPE of ROLE:

This role will be based out of Hyderabad

The role will have Supervisory responsibility with a few immediate direct reports.

REPORTING & RELATONSHIPS:

Reporting to Sr. Vice President Sales & Marketing Domestic (Vaccines & Pharma Divisions)

KEY RESULT AREAS & EXPECTED OUTCOMES:

This role comes with the following Goals and Deliverables:

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Strategy leads to develop Scientific Marketing Strategy for BEs products;
• Identify growth areas for BE’s businesses from medical perspective; Product life cycle management for the existing products; Identification of new products in the area of unmet need and in alignment with the organizational objectives in India
• Make Presentations on behalf of BE to relevant Scientific and Medical bodies like IAP, ICMR, NTAGI etc.; Representing BE in conferences and scientific symposia etc..
• To manage relationships with external customers (KOL management, conducting CMEs, Doctor Meets, Symposia, etc.)
• Lead the medico marketing team to provide medical inputs & support to marketing during and after new product ideations, launches, scientific product promotion campaigns
• Review and approve product promotional material received from marketing, in line with relevant guidelines.
• Review all kinds of medical queries from external customers, marketing department & field sales/marketing team; this includes Product complaints and conversations with HCPs in this regard
• Review the clinical study synopsis in the post marketing phase, and monitoring relevant data and publishing in relevant journals; Review the Medical rationales, regulatory documents, product justifications.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• Hands-on experience to drive the medico marketing activities
• Strong influencing and collaborations attribute. Training and Coaching
• Should have excellent communication and soft skills.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• MS/MD
• Should be familiar with WHO & ICH guidelines.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
