Warehouse Manager

Key Purpose of the role:

BiofuelCircle aims to establish a Billion Dollar annual transaction volume on its digital platform by 2028. To get there, it needs to have >10,000 business subscribers and a reach to >1 million farmers. The company has a unique business model that combines digital platform-based business with physical supply ecosystem. The Supply Operations function is a key element of the companys model, and broadly includes:

1. Aggregation Depots

2. Warehouse Network

3. Managed Biofuel Plants

The company intends to have upward of 500 Depots, 100 warehouses and 400 small biofuel manufacturing plants under its management.

Warehouse Network

• Storage of Rural biomass; a typical warehouse will be a 10,000 MT facility on approx. 8-10 acre land
• Supply Operations Manager will be responsible for location identification, initial set up and operations management of the warehouses across multiple locations as required by the organizations
• Travel to customer site to troubleshoot, maintain and deploy various warehouse assets.
• Ensuring warehouse operations at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, and monitoring operations goals with predefined SOPs.
• Solving day to day operational issues if any and reach short term and long-term performance goals
• Maintain a safe, healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing BiofuelCircle standards and procedures. Maintaining proper records.
• Inspecting tools, warehouse machines regularly and oversee general maintenance when necessary to avoid any operational losses

Required skills sets:

• Understand Warehouse processes.
• Developing and implementing warehouse process and procedures
• Knowledge, managing of warehouse assets and also maintaining warehouse layout for optimum space utilization
• Managing and optimizing inventory and having supply chain logistics knowledge
• Ensuring compliance / creating safe working environment.
• Coordination with other department for procurement and transportation of commodities to fulfil orders
• Communication should be strong- awareness of location language.
• Relay communication between management and ground staff

• Implementing changes for improving warehouse efficiency
