Enterprise Risk Specialist

About the Role:

The role of a Risk Manager is to communicate risk policies and processes for an organisation. The person should be able to develop risk models for strategic, financial, operational and compliance risk and assure that mitigations are effectively designed to address the risk & operating effectively.

Risk Manager must have excellent quantitative and analytical skills, along with the ability to apply those skills across a variety of business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Experienced in developing, implementing, and maintaining an ERM framework including the assessment of mitigation procedures.
• Designing and implementing an overall risk management Framework/process for the organisation, which includes an analysis of the consequences/financial impact on the company when risks occur.
• Performing a risk assessment: Analyzing current risks and identifying potential risks that may have significant effect on the company (Internal & External).
• Provide a methodology to identify and analyze the financial impact of loss to the organization, employees, the public, and the environment.
• Establishing risk appetites at all levels based on the understanding of the company ability and willingness to take calculated risk.
• Developing and maintaining risk registers for entities/production facilities across markets.
• Facilitate the identification of risks utilising risk analytics with appropriate tools and techniques
• ERM Digital tool/technology Implementation/Deployment skills.
• Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience at all levels. (Educating management about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks)
• Monitor implementation of action plans to ensure risk mitigation efforts are proceeding as required.
• Monitor KRIs and report the trends to the management on periodic basis.
• Liaise with department and business heads on the adequacy of proposed actions in management of risk areas (also highlighted in internal audit reports).
• Risk Management Awareness trainings
• Conducting risk management audits across jurisdictions.
• Establish and maintain a risk management philosophy and culture within the organisation.
• Execute other tasks like SOD conflict management, DOA and other risk management projects assigned from time to time.
• Be able to design the RCMs by walkthroughs & studying the Policies & SOP
• Monitoring the self-certification of Internal financial controls within the organization

Background & Experience Required:

Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience of designing, implementing, and maintaining an overall risk management framework for Life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biosimilars and/or manufacturing organization. Person should have a thorough knowledge of Risk Management concepts and practice.

• Experience in multi-jurisdictional stakeholder management is preferred.
• Working Knowledge in designing Internal controls frameworks (COSO)
• MBA/PG Diploma in Finance/Risk Management or CA or CIA or CRMA
• Other Relevant Certifications in Enterprise Risk Management (Preferable)

• Proficiency in excel and PowerPoint. Power BI, SAP, GRC tools experience will be preferred.
• Pharmaceutical/Biosimilars industry experience will be preferred.

• Ability to communicate and convince senior management.
