Ethics & Compliance Role

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop and implement comprehensive ethics and compliance training programs including without limitation, Code of Conduct, Anti bribery & Anti-Corruption, COI, Data privacy, Economic & Trade Sanctions, Anti-money laundering for employees at all levels of the organisation.
2. Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and create targeted training materials
3. Ensure contents are up to date to reflect changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices
4. Incorporate engaging and interactive elements into the training modules.
5. Facilitate training sessions, both in-person and virtually to educate employees
6. Own content which are deployed on LMS for Ethics & Compliance
7. Track and ensure completion along with HR business partners
8. Monitor completion rates and ensure accurate records for trainings
9. Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to promote E&C awareness.
10. Create clear and concise communications, including newsletter, email updates, intranet contents and contents for other communication channels
11. Support & advise in case of Compliance issues of business
12. Supporting different E&C programs being implemented from time to time
13. Understanding of policies, processes, and tools and effectively communicate to the appropriate employees and business partners / vendors.
14. Develop and implement a comprehensive third-party due diligence program if required
15. Conduct due diligence and analyse and evaluate due diligence findings to identify potentials risks, conflicts, or non-compliance issues if required
16. Provide remediations in relation to the red flags identified if required
17. Ensure training and contractual requirements for identified third party vendors
18. Effectively collaborate with all stakeholders and compliance colleagues for implementation of the E&C agenda
19. Liaise with auditors, shareholders, regulators, and other statutory authorities.

Background & Experience Required:

• Minimum 8 years total experience in Ethics & Compliance (E&C) and at least 3 to 4 years in pharmaceutical / healthcare environment
• Strong Business Understanding and exposure to business processes
• Strong Influencing capability & adaptability to work with multiple stakeholders
• Must have worked in complex environment.
• Must have experience in Ethics & Compliance Training & Communication
