5S Implementation and Standardization
▪ Support the implementation of 5S and ensuring standardization of 5S practices across different zones under various locations of Biocon Group.
Scaling Up 5S Zones
▪ Identify new zones that require 5S implementation and expand 5S initiatives across the group.
▪ Facilitate the setup of new 5S zones under guidance and ensure their sustainability.
Developing 5S Model Areas
▪ Support the development of benchmark 5S model areas within Biocon.
▪ Assist in ensuring model areas serve as references for best-in-class 5S implementation.
Enhancing Employee Engagement in 5S
▪ Assist in developing engagement programs to increase employee participation, Conduct basic awareness sessions and coordinate training programs to foster a 5S culture.
▪ Help implement gamification techniques, competitions, and reward mechanisms to sustain participation.
External Certifications and Competitions
▪ Facilitate teams in preparing for external 5S certifications like JUSE 5S certification and industry-level competitions.
▪ Assist in the documentation, preparation, and alignment of Biocons 5S practices with certification requirements.
▪ Support coordination with certifying bodies and external auditors for successful accreditation.
Supporting Internal 5S Auditor Development
▪ Assist in identifying and training internal 5S auditors under the guidance of senior trainers.
▪ Support the implementation of an Internal 5S Auditor Certification Program.
▪ Help coordinate periodic refresher training and maintain records of auditor development.
Coordination with 5S Zone Leaders and SPOCs
▪ Act as a key support between the COE team , External consultant / Vendor and 5S Zone Leaders/SPOCs.
▪ Ensure seamless communication, reporting, and tracking of 5S initiatives.
▪ Assist zone leaders in resolving challenges and sustaining improvements.
Conducting Periodic 5S Audits and Rewards & Recognitions (R&R)
▪ Assist in scheduling and conducting regular 5S audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement areas.
▪ Help develop and maintain 5S audit scorecards and performance tracking mechanisms.
▪ Support leadership in designing and implementing Rewards & Recognition (R&R) programs for best-performing zones and employees.
