Job Purpose:
This role reports to the Global Total Rewards Head. The Global Total Rewards Director is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of Biocon Biologics' global total rewards strategy. This includes compensation, benefits, recognition programs, and performance management initiatives to attract, retain, and motivate talent across the organization. The role will partner closely with regional HR teams, business leaders, and key stakeholders to drive global consistency, while being adaptable to local needs and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Global Total Rewards Strategy: Design and implement a global total rewards framework that aligns with Biocon Biologics' organizational goals and values. Ensure consistency in compensation and benefits structures across regions, while also being flexible to regional differences.
- Compensation Management: Director the design and management of global salary structures, variable pay programs, and annual salary reviews. Ensure competitive benchmarking and market competitiveness to attract and retain top talent.
- Benefits Strategy: Oversee the development and management of global benefits programs, including health and wellness, retirement plans, paid time off, and other employee benefits. Regularly assess benefits offerings to ensure they meet the needs of employees while staying cost-effective.
- Recognition & Rewards Programs: Design and implement recognition programs that celebrate employee achievements, encourage high performance, and align with company values. Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and motivation.
- Performance Management: Partner with HR and business leaders to design and optimize performance management systems that align with business objectives and encourage continuous growth and development.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all total rewards programs comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and Biocon Biologics' internal policies. Maintain a thorough understanding of global compensation and benefits trends and regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, HR business partners, and other key stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations on total rewards strategies. Collaborate on initiatives related to talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data and analytics to monitor the effectiveness of total rewards programs, ensuring they are competitive, aligned with business objectives, and drive employee satisfaction. Provide regular reporting to leadership on total rewards trends, recommendations, and program impact.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, GRP) preferred.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits management, with a focus on global or regional roles. Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sectors is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of global compensation and benefits programs, including compliance and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership.
- Proficient in SAP systems, data analytics, and reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
