Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Global Procurement Head to lead our global procurement function. This role is critical to driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement operations, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals, and supporting our mission to deliver high-quality, affordable biopharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement Leadership:

- Develop and implement global procurement strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and business needs.

- Oversee procurement operations across all regions, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.

Supplier Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers to secure high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.

- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers to drive innovation and improve supply chain resilience.

Cost Management:

- Lead efforts to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs while maintaining quality and compliance.

- Implement cost-saving initiatives and negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms and pricing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory teams, to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials.

- Provide procurement support for new product launches and expansion initiatives.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

- Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and regulatory changes.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global procurement team.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional growth within the procurement function.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

- Utilize data and analytics to drive procurement decisions, measure performance, and report on key metrics.

- Implement systems and tools to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or similar) is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing global procurement operations.

- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly desirable.
