Cost Accountant (ICWA)

We are hiring candidates for ICWA Cost Accountant for our plant into manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and Pharmaceutical Intermediates.

Educational Qualification: ICWA/CMA certification is mandatory. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Analysis & Reporting:

• Maintain standard costing practices for each product line and update cost periodically based on market changes

Inventory Management:

• Track and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to optimize cost and prevent overstock or stock outs.
• Analyze and inventory usage rates, recommended reordering levels, and work closely with the procurement team to control inventory costs.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Develop and monitor departmental budgets, focusing on cost optimization.
• Prepare and analyze budget variances, and provide recommendations to management for cost savings.

Production Cost Optimization:

• Work with production and procurement teams to analyze production costs, monitor wastage, and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Review and control cost related to utilities, equipment maintenance, and waste disposal.

Compliance & Standards:

• Ensure adherence to industry standards and ICWA regulations for cost accounting and reporting.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Perform cost benefits analysis on projects, capital expenditures, and process changes.
• Provide insights on cost impacts for new product development, production scale-ups, and process improvements.
• Utilize ERP systems and SAP software to maintain accurate costing records.
