Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Analyst to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with antivirus solutions, firewall management, data loss prevention (DLP), endpoint detection and response (EDR), and the ability to generate antivirus reports. This role will primarily focus on security operations and the maintenance of security tools to protect the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Antivirus Management: Administer and manage antivirus solutions across the organizations endpoints to ensure protection against malware, viruses, and other malicious software.
• Firewall Security : Manage and configure firewalls, protect the network perimeter and mitigate potential security threats.
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Implement, monitor, and manage DLP solutions to prevent unauthorized access or data leaks from endpoints.
• EDR Tools: Utilize endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents on endpoints.
• Report Generation: Prepare and review detailed antivirus and security incident reports, identifying vulnerabilities, trends, and mitigation actions.
• Hands-on Console Management: Proficient use of security management consoles to monitor security incidents, perform scans, and ensure that endpoint protection policies are enforced.
• Security Operations: Actively participate in security operations tasks, including threat monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents and threats, ensuring timely remediation of identified risks.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in endpoint security, specifically with antivirus management, firewalls , data loss prevention (DLP), and endpoint detection and response (EDR).
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of endpoint protection technologies, antivirus tools, firewall configurations, and DLP solutions.
• Console Management: Proven ability to work with endpoint security management consoles, generate reports, and perform security actions from the console.
• Certifications: Good to have certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or other relevant security certifications.
• Security Operations: Experience working in security operations and incident management.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to generate clear and concise security reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, or vulnerability management platforms.
• Exposure to endpoint protection in hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of security compliance standards and regulations.
