As a Cyber Security Expert, you play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's digital
assets and sensitive information from cyber threats and attacks.
Your expertise is vital in implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and
responding to security incidents to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our data.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor and analyse security incidents and conduct threat assessments.
• Manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
• Conduct Information Security Compliance Assessments, Audits, and Gap
Assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into
infrastructure.
• Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business
continuity plans.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents, including conducting investigations, analysing
the cause of the incident, and taking steps to mitigate the impact.
• Proficiency with any of the following: Anti-Virus, HIPS, ID/PS, Full Packet Capture,
Host-Based Forensics, Network Forensics, and RSA Security.
• Exposure in networking concepts such as OSI model, IP, DNS, DHCP directories etc.
• Experience with Cloud Security Architecture, Web Application Firewall (WAF),
Managed Cloud Security Services.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements including ISO 27001, GDPR,
HIPAA, SOC2 etc.
• Working knowledge of Windows or Linux systems, related threats & incidents, DNS,
Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking, EDR, IDS and IPS, rest APIs.
• Stay updated on the latest cyber security trends and threats.
• Develop and conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to proactively communicate with stakeholders to keep
them up to speed on any issues.
Key Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree or relevant experience in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in Information Security / Infrastructure Management.
Preferred Certifications: ITIL, Network, Systems, or Security Certifications (CCNA, RHCE, MCSE, ISC2, CEH and CCSP).
