Assistant Search Engine Manager
Assist in managing paid search campaigns across various platforms to achieve marketing objectives and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Setup and Optimization:
1. Assist in setting up paid search campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.
2. Monitor campaign performance and optimize bids, keywords, and ad text to improve ROI.
3. Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
Ad Copywriting and Testing:
1. Collaborate with the creative team to write compelling ad copy.
2. Implement A/B testing of ad creatives to improve click-through and conversion rates.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
1. Analyze campaign data to provide insights and recommendations.
2. Prepare regular performance reports using tools like Google Analytics and data visualization tools.
3. Monitor budget pacing and campaign KPIs to ensure targets are met.
Market and Competitor Research:
1. Stay updated with industry trends and changes in search engine algorithms.
2. Conduct competitor analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses in their SEM strategies.
Collaboration and Communication:
1. Work closely with cross-functional teams including digital marketing, content, and design teams.
2. Coordinate with external agencies or vendors as necessary.
Campaign Tracking and Tag Management:
1. Implement tracking tags (e.g., Google Tag Manager) and ensure accurate data collection.
2. Troubleshoot tracking issues and collaborate with IT or development teams when necessary.
Budget Management:
1. Assist in managing SEM budget allocation and pacing.
2. Monitor spend and ensure campaigns are within budget constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience with SEM campaigns, preferably in Google Ads and Bing Ads.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other relevant tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Google Ads certification (preferred).
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with other digital marketing channels such as SEO, social media advertising, etc.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website CMS platforms.
- Experience with automation tools and scripts for SEM management.
