Role & responsibilities

• IT operations: Overseeing the daily operations of network and server infrastructure, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and updates
• IT security: Implementing and managing security measures to protect the organization's IT systems and data, including firewalls, antivirus protection, and disaster recovery plans
• IT budgets: Managing the IT budget, forecasting, and ensuring cost-effectiveness
• IT projects: Managing major IT projects, including system updates and migrations
• IT personnel: Selecting, training, evaluating, and supervising IT staff
• IT compliance: Ensuring IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
• IT vendor management: Renegotiating vendor contracts and identifying areas for cost savings
• IT communication: Collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders
• IT knowledge: Staying up to date with advances in the industry and new network technology
