Business Development Manager
Role Description:
- This is a full-time on-site role for a position of "Business Development Manager" in IT Staffing vertical located in Bangalore.
- As a BDM, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our client base in the Indian market.
- You will identify business opportunities, build relationships, and meet our client needs for their manpower requirements on CTH basis.
- This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the IT staffing industry and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive positioning within the Indian market for IT consulting services.
- Develop and execute targeted strategies to acquire new clients, including prospecting, lead generation, and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers.
- Understand client needs and pain points, and effectively position our IT consulting services as solutions to address their challenges and drive business outcomes.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement to move prospects through the sales funnel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs, and providing ongoing support and value-added services to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company objectives and revenue targets, leveraging insights from market analysis and client feedback.
- Work closely with internal teams, including consultants, marketing, and delivery teams, to ensure alignment of sales strategies and seamless execution of client engagements.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue growth, providing regular reports and updates to management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development or sales roles within the IT staffing services industry, with a proven track record of success in the domestic market.
- Deep understanding of the Indian market dynamics, including key sectors, client challenges, regulatory environment, and competitor landscape in the IT staffing services space.
- Strong sales acumen with demonstrated experience in consultative selling, solution-oriented sales approaches, and negotiating complex contracts to drive revenue growth.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with clients at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans, identify market opportunities, and drive initiatives to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively in client-facing interactions and presentations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze market trends, and derive actionable insights to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
