Role & responsibilities :

Must have Import & Export Knowledge.

Documentation (Pre-shipment & Post-shipment), logistics and MIS+ Accounting Knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

Import & Export Documentation:

• Oversee and ensure the accuracy of all pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation.
• Prepare and manage import/export-related documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, customs declarations, etc.
• Coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure timely processing of documents.

Logistics Management:

• Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Monitor the status of shipments and manage any discrepancies or delays that may arise.
• Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring the alignment of stock movement with export requirements.

Accounting and MIS:

• Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of import/export transactions for accounting purposes.
• Assist with generating regular MIS reports related to imports and exports, including cost analysis and shipment performance.
• Work closely with the accounts department to ensure proper financial tracking of logistics costs, duties, and taxes.

Functional Skills required : Excel, SAP, LC (UCP 600)

Industry : Textile or any Manufacturing industry preferred.
