We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Program Associate to lead and manage CSR and healthcare projects in Bharuch. This role involves overseeing multiple CSR projects, leading the local team, ensuring smooth project operations, and contributing to the strategic goals of BharatCares. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in stakeholder management, project budgeting, fieldwork, team handling, and documentation.
Responsibilities
Project Management & Implementation:
Lead and oversee CSR projects related to education, livelihoods, adolescent health, and healthcare in Bharuch and surrounding areas.
Ensure timely execution of projects with adherence to agreed deliverables and quality standards.
Regularly conduct field visits to monitor the progress of projects and ensure alignment with objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments, non-profit organizations, community leaders, and corporate partners.
Liaise with community members and healthcare institutions to ensure smooth project operations.
Manage the Bharuch team, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities, and mentor team members for professional growth.
Provide necessary guidance to the team for resolving challenges and improving project outcomes.
Oversee day-to-day operations at the Bharuch office, ensuring all project and administrative activities are carried out efficiently.
Report Writing & Documentation:
Prepare detailed project reports, impact assessments, and case studies for submission to donors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Ensure accurate documentation of project activities and financial expenditures, maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
Budgeting & Financial Management:
Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources while meeting project objectives.
Prepare budget estimates for new and ongoing projects and oversee financial tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
Work with the communications team to draft press releases, success stories, and project updates for public dissemination.
Ensure timely communication with stakeholders and beneficiaries, promoting project visibility.
Track key project metrics, assess project performance, and suggest improvements to enhance project impact.
Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team to measure project outcomes and make data-driven decisions.
Capacity Building & Training:
Conduct training sessions for field staff and beneficiaries on healthcare, sanitation, and community development.
Facilitate capacity-building workshops for community members and local leaders, promoting long-term sustainability.
Strategic Planning & Partnerships:
Contribute to the strategic planning and expansion of CSR and healthcare initiatives in Bharuch.
Explore partnerships with like-minded organizations, research institutions, and corporates to enhance project scope and impact.
Mandatory Qualification and Experience:
Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
Experience: 4 to 7 years of experience in CSR projects, healthcare, education, livelihoods, adolescent health, or related fields.
Languages: Fluency in Gujarati and English (both written and spoken).
Skills: Strong report writing and documentation skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in project budgeting and financial tracking. Stakeholder management and fieldwork experience.
Experience in handling CSR projects funded by corporate or government entities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience in working with government agencies or NGOs for healthcare or social impact programs.
