Junior Research Associate/ Research Associate

Role & responsibilities

1. Preparation of Antigen according to the steps in the SOP at Horse farms.
2. Documentation required for the Antigen Preparation.
3. To prepare the Monthly/Annual Schedule for Immunization, Test Bleed & Bleed.
4. To ensure that all the test bleed & bleed sample collection is done on time and samples reach Airoli (R&D Centre) or Ambarnath (Animal House) for testing. Co-ordinate receipt of Test reports and communicate to the Veterinary Dept.
5. To Attend weekly meetings and give an update on Antigen Preparation, titres and schedules.
6. Dispensing and handling of venoms & vaccines. Handling knowledge in Biosafety area.
7. Handling internal and external audits.
8. Filling of Records and Area/Equipment usage log book on daily basis.
9. To validate & calibrate all related instruments & maintain log records.
10. Co-ordinate procurement of raw materials in line with organization annual plans & needs.
11. Prepare budget for the antigen department & co-ordinate with accounts department for monthly expenditures v/s the budgets allocated.
12. Prepare & maintain stocks/records of Antigen raw materials, chemical and reagents
13. Maintaining log formats of equipment
14. Timely servicing of equipments in Antigen Areas
15. Maintain documentation
16. Area cleanliness. Sterile room handling knowledge.
17. Preparation of SOPs and Reports.
18. Coordination with Farm, R&D and QC.

Preferred candidate profile

1. BSc/ BPharm QA
2. 2-3 years experience
3. B. Pharm fresher willing to join R&D and open to travel can also apply.
