Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for injectable production processes.
• Perform regular calibration of instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control system malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for instrumentation and control systems.
• Collaborate with the production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of instrumentation systems.
• Document all maintenance and calibration activities accurately and maintain records as per GMP standards.
• Participate in the design and execution of process improvement projects related to instrumentation and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field / Diploma / ITI.
• Minimum of 8 - 15 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems within a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment, preferably with injectable products.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and other industry standards.
• Proficiency in using calibration tools and software.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.
• Certification in instrumentation and control engineering.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques.
