Vsquare Systems - Senior Software Engineer - Embedded System (5-7 yrs)

Role Description:

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment. You will leverage your expertise in embedded systems and Ruby on Rails to create robust and efficient software solutions. Your experience in regulated industries will ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop custom embedded products, ensuring adherence to best practices in software architecture and design.

- Utilize expert-level knowledge of object-oriented design and Ruby on Rails to create scalable software solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements and specifications.

- Maintain and optimize databases, with a preference for MS SQL Express.

- Work with Android OS to integrate and enhance embedded applications.

- Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and other regulatory requirements throughout the development process.

- Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing clear updates and documentation.

Required Skills :

- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in custom embedded product development.

- Strong software design and architectural experience.

- Expert knowledge of object-oriented design and Ruby on Rails.

- Working knowledge of general database principles, preferably with MS SQL Express.

- Familiarity with Android OS is a plus.

- Experience in regulated industries (ISO, FDA) is desired.

- Self-motivated and able to work independently.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities.

- Strong written and oral communication skills
