Manager - Electrical Design

Experience : Preparation of Electrical specification , preparation of BOQ, data sheet for Motors, fans, MCC Panels, local panels , terminal box, switches , JB & JB layouts , electrical heaters, earthing , lighting, Lighting study , cables sizing , cable schedule, cable layouts, cable tray & supports, vendor document review and approval, client coordination for approvals , FAT & SAT of packages.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Good command of English;
• Knowledge and experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of European regulations regarding ATEX / SIL guidelines, PESSO, API requirements.
• Attend project design team meetings.
• Perform electrical systems design and calculations, electrical sizing and selection bulk material take-offs.
• Develop electrical equipment specifications/datasheets, electrical system drawings (single line diagram, control schematics, etc) and electrical layout drawings (lighting layouts)
• Perform technical bid evaluation for electrical equipment.
• Review vendor equipment design/data.
• Assists in creating design specifications considering application, cost, weight, performance, product life, manufacture, assembly and service.
• Learns team roles and how to contribute towards team goals
• Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during construction phases.
• Work with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems.
• Travel to sites for site review and work with onsite field engineers, provide engineering evaluations, electrical systems audits, and startup as needed.
