FIS Front Arena Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated FIS Front Arena Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, enhancing, and supporting the Front Arena platform, a leading trading and risk management solution. You will collaborate with business analysts, traders, and other developers to deliver technical solutions that meet the needs of our financial markets business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and Customization:
• Design, develop, and maintain solutions within the FIS Front Arena environment.
• Customize Front Arena applications to meet the specific needs of trading and risk management teams.
• Integration and Scripting:
• Develop interfaces and scripts using Python, AEL (Arena Extension Language), and ACM (Arena Component Model).
• Integrate Front Arena with other systems, such as market data feeds, order management systems, and risk engines.
• System Configuration and Optimization:
• Configure the Front Arena system to align with business requirements.
• Optimize system performance and ensure seamless operation in a high-availability trading environment.
• Support and Troubleshooting:
• Provide technical support to end-users, including traders and risk managers.
• Investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and traders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for customizations, configurations, and processes.
• Ensure all developments comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Technical Skills :

• Strong programming skills in Python and AEL (Arena Extension Language).
• Proficiency in working with Front Arena ACM (Arena Component Model).
• Experience with SQL databases for data extraction and manipulation.
• In-depth understanding of financial instruments, including derivatives, equities, fixed income, and FX.
• Familiarity with trading workflows, risk management, and P&L reporting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of market data providers such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control systems like Git.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a Front Arena Developer or in a similar role within a financial institution is highly desirable.
