Position: Head of Sales
- We are seeking an accomplished Head of Sales to lead and expand our business development initiatives.
- This role requires a visionary leader with a strategic mindset and the ability to thrive both as a team mentor and an independent contributor.
- The ideal candidate will excel in driving sales growth, building client relationships, and shaping a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement a forward-looking sales strategy aligned with Betaque's business objectives.
- Identify and explore new markets, client segments, and business opportunities to boost revenue streams.
2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
- Take charge of acquiring new enterprise clients and closing high-value IT service deals.
- Build, nurture, and sustain long-term client relationships, ensuring consistent engagement and repeat business.
3. Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Lead, coach, and inspire a dynamic sales team to achieve and surpass targets.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics, fostering accountability and consistent improvement.
- Cultivate a collaborative and empowering team culture.
4. Independent Contribution:
- Step into a hands-on role when necessary, engaging directly in client pitches, negotiations, and end-to-end deal management.
- Serve as a role model, demonstrating commitment and expertise in sales execution.
5. Market Intelligence and Strategy Alignment:
- Analyze industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscapes to refine strategies.
- Work closely with marketing and delivery teams to ensure service offerings align with market demands.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
6. Sales Operations and Reporting:
- Oversee the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified opportunities.
- Drive process automation and efficiency through advanced CRM tools and analytics.
- Track, report, and analyze sales performance, revenue forecasts, and team progress.
Qualifications and SkillsExperience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales leadership, specifically in IT services, consulting, or related industries.
- Proven success in acquiring enterprise clients and closing complex, high-value deals.
- Technical and Leadership Skills
- Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex solutions effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot, with a strong analytical mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and grow high-performing sales teams while excelling as an independent contributor.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to solving challenges.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- An MBA is strongly preferred.
