Aix Administrator

Responsibilites:

• Experience Installing VIOS and creating VIO server Lpars on P8, P9, and P10 hardware
• Experience Installing and creating VIO client Lpars on P8, P9, and P10 hardware
• Experience troubleshooting VIO physical to virtual mappings including SEAs and Virtual HBA’s.
• Experience creating SVC Host definitions
• Experience creating SVC luns and mapping LUNs to SVC hosts
• Experience with SVC metro mirroring for AIX hosts
• Experience troubleshooting AIX SAN issues including SAN zones, SVC host definitions, SVC LUN mappings, and VIO virtual to physical FCS mappings

Nice to have:

• Experience cabling Network and SAN cables on P8, P9, and P10 Frames
• Experience configuring SEA adapters in a dual VIO configuration
• Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading HMC
• Experience configuring LPM to move AIX lpars between P8, P9, and P10 frames
