Job Summary :
- The Modern Workplace Architect will drive the evolution of digital workplace solutions, ensuring a seamless, secure, and productive employee experience.
- This role is pivotal in architecting scalable, cost-effective, and sustainable systems that align with business goals and modern IT practices.
- The ideal candidate will excel in bridging the gap between user needs and cutting-edge technologies, fostering innovation while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Digital Workplace Strategy Development :
- Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive digital workplace strategy to improve employee enablement and collaboration.
- Define a roadmap for technology adoption, focusing on endpoint management, productivity tools, and user-centric platforms.
- Drive the adoption of a unified Digital Employee Experience approach, leveraging analytics and self-healing tools to optimize performance.
Technology Design and Implementation :
- Architect modern workplace solutions using cloud-native platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and other SaaS tools.
- Implement and optimize Desktop as a Service (DaaS), and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration between workplace tools and organizational IT infrastructure.
- Standardize endpoint management processes using solutions like Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and related technologies.
User-Centric Solutions :
- Implement tools for measuring employee sentiment, adoption rates, and technology performance to identify improvement areas.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all workplace technology implementations.
- Partner with HR, cybersecurity, and other business units to design solutions that support workforce needs and comply with regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in IT operations management, with a focus on infrastructure technology and end-user services.
Skills required :
Required Skills :
Expertise in digital workplace technologies, including :
- Cloud Platforms : Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS Workspaces, or Google Workspace.
- Endpoint Management : Microsoft Intune, SCCM, JAMF, or
- Collaboration Tools : Microsoft Teams,
- Strong knowledge of identity management systems such as Azure Active Directory and SSO solutions.
- Proficiency in ITIL practices and service delivery models.
Preferred Skills :
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, ITIL v4, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks as they apply to workplace technologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities :
Infrastructure Technology Management :
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure, including cloud and on-premise systems, networks, servers, and storage solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategy with business goals and emerging technology trends.
- Lead efforts in infrastructure automation, optimization, and scaling to improve performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure services.
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with cybersecurity and regulatory standards.
End-User Services Management :
- Oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of end-user devices, software, and tools, ensuring high performance and minimal disruption.
- Implement strategies for effective user training, self-service resources, and service desk support.
- Manage escalations and prioritize critical issues impacting end users, ensuring rapid resolution and communication.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance productivity, collaboration, and end-user satisfaction.
Leadership and Team Development :
- Drive strategic projects and initiatives, including digital transformation efforts, automation, and IT modernization.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and advocate for effective technology solutions.
