Key Responsibilities:
1. MEP design of individual project, planning & execution by appointed GC/Architect.
3. Preparing MEP Drawings in AutoCAD, preparing MEP BOQ, Preliminary Cost Estimates & assisting team lead.
4. Shall be able to provide Technical Advice to onsite supervisors, GC vendors/Architect & Team Lead.
5. Shall be able to analyze the MEP issues & formulate solutions.
6. Shall be able to handle multiple projects including maintenance activities.
7. Shall be able to read detailed GFC drawings and advise, formulate drawings, coordination with consultants/Architects. Shall have good verbal & written communication skills.
8. Shall be able to evaluate work of consultants, GC/Architects & advise Team Lead.
9. Managing day to day work.
10. Reviewing GC installation method statements.
11. Review contractors shop drawings against the design drawings for compliance.
12. Shall be able to prepare technical clarifications to the design to suit specific on-site construction and coordination issues.
13. Shall be able to certify the contractor invoices along with joint measurements.
14. Shall have enough technical expertise for HVAC system.
15. Undertake final project snagging and prepare a list of defects for the GC action.
16. Shall be able to provide tech inputs to Team Lead regarding any MEP services related to variable costs that the contractor may claim during the projects.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering in recognized University.
- Proven experience specifically related to MEP components and services.
- Minimum 10 to 12 years of actual sitework execution experience.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for design & project management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
