Position: Manager, Student Affairs
Location: Bennett University, Greater Noida
Reports to: Head of Student Affairs

Role Overview

The Manager of Student Affairs will support the Head of Student Affairs in managing and coordinating various aspects of student life at Bennett University. This role focuses on implementing programs, ensuring student well-being, and fostering an inclusive and vibrant campus culture. The Manager will work closely with students, faculty, and other administrative departments to enhance the student experience and facilitate their personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Implementation and Coordination

• Assist in executing student services, programs, and activities aligned with the university's mission and goals.
• Coordinate the logistics of student clubs, societies, and campus events, ensuring smooth operations and high levels of participation.
• Monitor the effectiveness of student programs and provide inputs for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.

2. Student Engagement and Campus Life

• Act as the point of contact for student organizations, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with university policies and values.
• Facilitate student leadership development programs and organize initiatives to promote inclusivity and cultural diversity.
• Support the planning and execution of major student events such as orientation, cultural fests, and community service initiatives.

3. Student Support and Welfare

• Provide first-line support to students facing challenges related to academics, health, or personal issues and guide them to appropriate resources.
• Work closely with the Health and Counseling Services team to ensure student well-being and a supportive campus environment.
• Assist in resolving student concerns and escalating complex issues to the Head of Student Affairs when necessary.

4. Discipline and Compliance

• Ensure adherence to university policies on student discipline, anti-ragging, and grievance redressal.
• Assist in investigations and documentation of student conduct issues, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with relevant committees.
• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.

5. Collaboration and Community Building

• Support the Head of Student Affairs in building partnerships with faculty, departments, and external organizations to enhance the student experience.
• Facilitate communication between student organizations and university leadership, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.
• Actively participate in university committees related to student affairs and contribute to policy development and execution.

6. Event Management

• Plan and oversee logistics for student events such as Freshers Party, Annual Fest, Convocation, and University Day.
• Support the organization of student orientation programs to help new students integrate seamlessly into campus life.
• Conduct regular hostel visits to address student needs and coordinate follow-ups for medical or emotional support.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in any discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in student affairs, event management, or a related role, preferably in higher education.
