- (based on role requirement) Job Summary: A leading manufacturer of decorative high-end plumbing fixtures is seeking a Product Engineer
- Product design improvement and development are critical to Brasstech s success in this fast- paced and highly competitive market
- The Product Engineer will assume responsibility for ensuring that the engineering specifications for existing and newly introduced products are maintained and/or revised to meet our evolving sourcing and manufacturing strategies
- This position will report directly to the Engineering Manager
- Primary Duties and Responsibilities Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to provide mechanical design solutions
- Responsible for creating and developing functional products Provide detailed manufacturing drawings, sub-assemblies, and assemblies
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T Prepare all necessary design documentation for production release Must have key skills:
- Must have good English speaking and written skills
- Min 2 years relevant experience of product engineering Minimum of 2,000 hours of CREO with thorough knowledge of surfacing, family tables, and Intralink Environment Demonstrate analytical aptitude Ability to work independently
- Ability to identify and correct design issues
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Good understanding of manufacturing process Other Skills: Must demonstrate effective skills in problem-solving, continuous improvement, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
