Superintendent - Mechanical (DMD)

A recognized degree in Mechanical engineering or scientific discipline.

• Prior Bechtel experience is a Must.
• Actual work experience leading to a thorough understanding of the technical knowledge described above. In this role, you will support contractors superintendents and/or craft professionals in the assigned area of the project. You will support craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure contractors craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets. Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractors management staff within the area of responsibility.
• Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
• Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
• Coordinates the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
• Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements
• Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
• Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
• Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
• Coordinates with Design on constructability issues
