Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business excellence tools, predictive analysis, and lean consulting, with a proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions to clients. The Tableau Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Tableau-based dashboards and visualizations to help our clients make informed business decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and data needs and translate them into effective Tableau-based solutions.
- Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Leverage business excellence tools, such as Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, to optimize data processes and improve the efficiency of Tableau implementations
- Perform predictive analysis using Tableau's advanced features to forecast trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize Tableau to extract valuable insights from data
- Stay up to date with the latest Tableau features, best practices, and industry trends, and share this knowledge with the team
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Tableau-based solutions and services
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Analytics.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience as a Tableau Consultant or in a similar data visualization role.
- Proficient in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, with the ability to create complex dashboards and visualizations.
- Strong understanding of business excellence tools, such as Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, and their application in data-driven decision-making.
- Expertise in predictive analysis and the use of advanced Tableau features for forecasting and trend analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Experience in data manipulation, cleaning, and transformation using tools like SQL, Python, or R.
Preferred Qualifications: -
- Tableau Certified Associate or Tableau Certified Professional certification.
- Experience in a specific industry or domain, such as finance, healthcare, or retail.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
