Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft D365 F&O capabilities and a strong understanding of client requirements.
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions in Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain domains.
This role demands an individual who can apply advanced process analysis skills and effectively communicate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that add business value.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and support the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft D365 F&O (AX) solutions, particularly in Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain modules.
- Collaborate with clients to gather and understand business requirements, ensuring the solution fits the client's needs and addresses pain points.
- Provide clear documentation and recommendations.
- Analyze and map existing business processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Propose solutions leveraging D365 F&O capabilities.
- Configure D365 F&O modules in line with client requirements and ensure the system is tailored to specific business needs.
- Provide functional training to end-users, ensuring a smooth transition post-implementation.
- Offer ongoing support to address issues, enhancements, or new requirements.
- Work closely with technical consultants and developers to ensure that customizations and integrations align with business needs.
- Oversee the testing process, including unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshooting.
- Ensure a smooth go-live by coordinating tasks and addressing any issues that arise.
- Act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure that the solution meets business objectives and drives value.
Key Skills & Qualifications :
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) or AX.
- Must have successfully delivered at least 2 to 3 full end-to-end implementations.
- Strong functional knowledge of the Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain modules within D365 F&O.
- Familiarity with other areas such as Production, Sales, and Project Management is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and design solutions that improve efficiency, enhance capabilities, and reduce operational costs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, understand their requirements, and explain complex technical solutions in an understandable manner.
- Expertise in creating detailed functional specifications, process maps, gap analysis reports, and user manuals.
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 (F&O) are highly desirable.
- While this is a functional role, familiarity with the technical aspects of D365 F&O, including integrations, customizations, and reporting, will be advantageous.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to address issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Experience working in Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques is beneficial
