Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior In-House Architect Manager to lead and oversee architectural design, project execution, and coordination within our organization. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in architectural design, construction management, and team leadership. They will play a key role in ensuring projects align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Planning

• Oversee the end-to-end architectural design process for projects, from concept development to execution.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and company design standards.
• Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions while balancing functionality, aesthetics, and budget.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and contractors to align project goals with company objectives.

Project Management & Execution

• Lead multiple architectural projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
• Monitor construction progress and resolve design-related issues during execution.
• Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and consultants to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections and evaluations to ensure design adherence and construction quality.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Supervise and mentor junior architects, providing guidance and professional development.
• Work closely with real estate, engineering, and construction teams for integrated project delivery.
• Conduct design reviews and technical discussions with internal teams and external consultants.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to enhance design and project outcomes.

Compliance & Sustainability

• Ensure all projects adhere to safety, sustainability, and environmental regulations.
• Incorporate green building principles and energy-efficient solutions in designs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and emerging technologies in architecture.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture (or related field).
• 6-10 years of experience in architectural design, project management, and construction oversight.
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design software.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and permitting processes.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Professional license/certification (preferred but not mandatory, based on location requirements).
