The Credit to Cash Project Set-Up Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating the firm wide contract administration activities for customer accounts. The position works and manages financial processes to include management of workflow and collaborating with various professionals in preparing or setting up customer accounts and billings.. The Manager requires a thorough understanding of the firm s billing and contract administration processes for distinct business lines and the ability to identify business process improvement, not limited to, but including, identifying electronic billing customers and specialized customer set ups and billings.

Essential Duties/Functions

  • Manages firm wide contract administration functions, including implementing best practices, supervising workflow and monitoring the related activities of customer accounts
  • Ensures timely invoice submission to customers based on agreed upon timelines
  • Works closely with finance and firm leadership to ensure all contract administration protocols are operationalized across all business lines
  • Oversees daily activity within the department and the administration of the financial system billing and contract administration module
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manages assigned staff in all aspects of contract administration process
  • Develops and monitors goals and objectives of staff performance, and provides on-going performance feedback to team members
  • Ensures all team members are effectively trained on systems and processes related to the billing contract functions

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, OR equivalent professional experience, required
  • Three (3) or more years of functional experience in billing and/or contract administration related roles in business-to-business settings or professional services with a degree; OR ten (10) or more years of functional experience in billing and/or contract administration related roles in business-to-business settings or professional services without a degree, required
  • Three (3) or more years of finance experience, required
  • Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience, required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel, required
  • Working knowledge of enterprise billing systems, required
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance or Oracle Fusion, preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Exceptional ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner in order to maintain satisfactory internal and external customer relations
  • Ability to be proactive and make reasoned decisions in a timely manner
  • Results oriented with the ability to prioritize and balance competing demands in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to make financial decisions at the manager level
  • Strong ability to relate with diverse personalities at all levels and differing opinions in a confident, tactful, professional and mature manner
