Job Description:

Position Title: Quality Head

Reporting To: President & CEO

Sub Function/Function: Quality

Location/Circle: Gujarat, India

Industry: Liquid Packaging

Job Purpose:

- He will be responsible for monitoring all the processes involved in converting the Raw material into Finish good, to ensure desired quality of product is getting produced with highest operational efficiency.

- Validation of pack-mat & packaging materials.

Principal Accountabilities:

Drive Safety Excellence:

- Drive Safety culture among the team and support plant in safety initiatives.

- Drive 5S in the plant focusing on improving the same, by regular monitoring

- No Loss time Incident / First Aid injury

- Create a culture of Close call reporting Min 1 Close call / Month / Per Person

- Identify Opportunities to improve safety of working place

Key Performance Drivers:

- Analysing, developing and documenting quality management system for Liquid Food packaging requirements.

- Interfaces with other departments and conduct internal training to develop and implement training programs as required.

- Developing and documenting WI/SOP/OPL for product measurements and testing.

- Ensuring high standards of quality laboratory and timely calibration of all equipment's.

- Directly monitor CTQ's of the products from the raw material until finished goods.

- Engage in pack-mat & packaging material validation on customer's side & makes validation successful.

- Statistical controls on process & process parameters.

- Monitor the Performance of tooling

- Analyze and decision making for quality issues along the production.

Skills and Knowledge:

- Educational Qualification: Degree/ Diploma (Mechanical/Printing Packaging /Chemical)

- Experience: 20+ years, relevant experience in aseptic packaging.

Technical and Behavioural Skills:

- Detail knowledge of Liquid Food Packaging.

- Detail knowledge of on line process quality testing.

- Detail knowledge of validation of packaging materials.

- Knowledgeable on ISO 9001:2015 standard and its system implementation

- Knowledgeable on BRC IoP standard and its system implementation.

- Knowledgeable on OHSAS and its system implementation.

- Knowledgeable on QC & QA planning and its system implementation.

- Keen knowledge Paper boards, polymer and aluminium foil.

- Knowledgeable in QC laboratory (testing equipment; calibration; documentation and its implementation).

- Knowledgeable in documentation control; records; and audit.

- Knowledge in SPC (Statistic Process controls & charts) / Six Sigma

- Has responsible to monitor& communicate weekly/monthly process trends graphs for all quality parameters.

- Mentoring lead problem solving team & educating team member& leaders.

- Responsible to conduct all audits (Internal & External )

- All Management team, process owners & operational teams. Sales teams, internal auditors.

External Interactions-(Outside the Organization):

- Customers, Suppliers, Related contractors& External auditors.
