Job Summary: The Restaurant Captain is responsible for overseeing the dining room operations, ensuring that guests receive outstanding service, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dining room staff, including servers and bussers.
• Ensure that all guests receive prompt and courteous service.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
• Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of dining room supplies.
• Uphold the restaurants standards of quality and service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a fine dining restaurant.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with grace.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
