Job Description

Job Title: Associate Vice President - Sales Hunter (Insurance Industry)

Location: Mumbai


Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented AVP Sales Hunter with extensive experience and deep knowledge of the Life and Non-Life insurance industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of insurance processes such as billing, claims, and underwriting, coupled with a proven track record of acquiring new clients in the insurance domain who are seeking to outsource their processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

- Identify, target, and acquire new insurance clients (Life and Non-Life) seeking to outsource their business processes or IT Services Consulting.

- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and market growth.

- Build a robust sales pipeline through research, networking, and market analysis.

Industry Expertise:

- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of insurance processes, including billing, claims management, and underwriting workflows.

- Leverage industry insights to position the company as a trusted partner for outsourcing needs.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders in the insurance industry.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and proposing tailored outsourcing solutions.

Collaboration and Leadership:

- Collaborate with internal delivery and operations teams to ensure seamless transition and execution of outsourced processes for new clients.

- Provide market feedback to leadership on emerging trends and opportunities in the insurance sector.

Sales Metrics and Reporting:

- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline growth, and client acquisition metrics.

- Continuously refine sales strategies to improve conversion rates and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- 14+ years of experience in sales/business development, with a focus on the insurance industry.

- In-depth knowledge of Life and Non-Life insurance processes, including billing, claims, and underwriting.

- Proven ability to hunt and close new business deals, with a strong network of insurance industry contacts.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
