Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and creative E-Commerce Specialist to join our team, focusing on the growth and development of our online presence in the clothing and jewellery sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing e-commerce platforms, enhancing product visibility, and creating engaging social media content. This position requires someone with a passion for fashion and jewellery, as well as a keen understanding of digital marketing trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. E-Commerce Management:
    • Oversee daily operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
    • Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring products are in stock and displayed effectively.
    • Implement strategies to improve product sales and customer experience.
    • Track and analyze e-commerce metrics (conversion rates, bounce rates, traffic, etc.) and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.
    • Work closely with the product and design teams to ensure online presentations align with brand identity and aesthetics.
  2. Social Media Management:
    • Develop and execute social media content calendars for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok, targeting specific campaigns for clothing and jewellery products.
    • Create visually appealing and engaging posts (photos, videos, reels, stories) that align with brand messaging.
    • Implement paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.) to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.
    • Monitor social media trends and competitors to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and innovative.
    • Engage with followers on social media by responding to comments, messages, and fostering community interaction.
  3. Brand Promotion:
    • Collaborate with influencers and bloggers for social media promotions, giveaways, and product launches.
    • Design and execute online promotions, flash sales, and seasonal campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
    • Ensure that the visual and messaging style of the brand is consistently reflected across all digital platforms.
  4. Customer Experience & Engagement:
    • Monitor customer feedback on e-commerce platforms and social media, addressing concerns and providing solutions.
    • Coordinate with customer service teams to ensure timely responses and resolutions.
    • Develop strategies to improve customer retention through personalized marketing, loyalty programs, and post-purchase engagement.
  5. Analytics & Reporting:
    • Regularly track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both e-commerce and social media efforts.
    • Generate detailed reports on sales performance, website traffic, social media performance, and marketing campaigns.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on analytics to improve marketing strategies and increase ROI.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in e-commerce management, specifically within the clothing and/or jewellery industry.
  • Social Media Expertise: Proven track record of managing social media platforms and driving engagement and conversions.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and paid media campaigns.
  • E-Commerce Platforms: Proficiency in platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or Magento.
  • Creative Skills: Strong ability to create visually appealing content and campaigns that align with brand aesthetics.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using Google Analytics, social media insights, and other relevant tools to measure campaign performance.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages across digital platforms.
  • Adaptability: Ability to stay ahead of trends in the e-commerce and social media space and adapt strategies accordingly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with influencer marketing in the fashion and jewellery industry.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar.
  • Graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.) is a plus.
