Position Summary:

As a Shopify Developer, you will play a vital role in optimizing, enhancing, and maintaining our Shopify-based e-commerce website. You will work closely with our UI/UX designer to create a user-friendly, responsive, and scalable online store. Your expertise in Shopify development will enable you to customize existing themes, extend functionalities, and implement SEO/CRO best practices for improved conversion rates.

• To continuously optimise, enhance & maintain our Shopify based e-commerce website bathroom4less.co.uk
• Working closely with our UI/UX designer to produce tight, forward-thinking, responsive and scalable front-end experiences
• Manage and customise the pre existing templates & themes
• To deliver optimised, fast loading, and super responsive website for desktop and mobile devices.
• Superb troubleshooting and debugging skill.
• Extend Shopify functionalities using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc.
• Manage existing Shopify theme and also create a new theme if needed
• Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Shopify sites Creating responsive website designs
• Constantly look for better ways to do things by keeping up to date with the latest developments in the industry.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

PLEASE BE AWARE - WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR APPLICANTS WHO ARE RELOCATING. WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT APPLICANTS WHO ALREADY LIVE IN NOIDA OR THE SURROUNDING AREA. THIS IS AN OFFICE BASED ROLE WORKING 5 DAYS A WEEK IN THE OFFICE IN NOIDA AND 1/2 DAY AT HOME ON A SATURDAY.

Technical Capabilities:

• You must have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a Shopify developer.
• Solid experience on cart level, product level customisation and multi-level promotion.
• Experience with advanced Shopify concepts such as alternation of layouts and templates, product attributes, cart properties, and a deep understanding of the limitations and possibilities of Shopify objects.
• Good Knowledge of HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS3, and Javascript (including JQuery framework)
• Good knowledge in AJAX, Apache / PHP / MySQL
• Thorough expertise in developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Working knowledge of custom Shopify App development.
• Knowledge of speed optimisation of Shopify stores
• Expertise in Shopify Liquid template language, Shopify Admin/Storefront
• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with expertise in React Native and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of Shopify & APIs, webhooks, and app development.
• Experience with technologies such as HTML, DOM, CSS, JavaScript, React, and React websites.
• Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and familiarity with frameworks like Express.js.
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Gitgithub.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure smooth connection with the Shopify Apps, Marketing Tools, and Platform APIs.
• Working knowledge in 3rd-party APIs and services along with Shopify plugins.
• Usage of theme-kit or similar code push methodology experience.
