Assistant Vice President - Network Compliance - Merchant Acquiring Business (7-20 yrs)

We required an experienced Manager to lead and drive the card scheme and payment network mandate compliance for our Merchant Acquiring business. This role will be dedicated to collate all the mandates on regular basis from customers, schemes and regulator. Derive the understanding and applicability for our business as well as customers and create functional specifications, drive implementation and ensure it is monitored on regular basis through ops, analytics and risk management teams.

Key Requirements:

- Should have well versed understanding of merchant acquiring eco system, transaction flow, interchange calculation, settlement, merchant payment & chargeback process

- Should have knowledge of interchange calculation for per transaction as well as should aware of Fee module which charged by Network at Auth & Base II level, Should have knowledge of Network weekly & monthly charges, where its need to be analyse for Fee Module.

- Understand applicability of mandates as well as business rules for right interchange calculation from specific customers or merchant categories.

- Expected to read & understand the mandate requirement which are circulated by network time to me, analyse the impact analysis for implementation into all system.

- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including payment service providers, banks, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth operations and adherence to mandates.

- Effectively communicate product updates, challenges, and timelines to senior management and key stakeholders.

- Provide guidance to internal teams on compliance requirements and ensure timely implementation of any new regulations.

- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to assess the impact of new

- RBI mandates and integrate them into product offerings.

- Ensure all products and services related to the merchant acquiring network comply with RBI regulations, directives, and guidelines.

- Understands the Network Mandates i.e Visa, Master, Rupay & Expected to ensure & drive the changes to get implement into system as per timelines demands by Network.

- Post go live monitoring has to be maintain in system to understand there is no gap in implementation.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience in managing compliance with RBI mandates and other

- Network mandates such as VISA, MasterCard, Rupay, UPI, Amex etc.

- Deep understanding of the merchant acquiring ecosystem, including POS, digital payments, and related technologies.

- 7+ years of experience in product/mandate management within the financial services, payments, or fintech sectors.
