Job Description:

Role & responsibilities: This is a full-time on-site role for a Area Sales Manager - Home Loan at Baroda Global Shared Services Ltd. The Team Leader will be responsible for accurately planning & forecasting the business from different sourcing channels, successful execution of the strategies is required to achieve financial targets on day-to-day basis.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for home loans.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and customer segments within the assigned area.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand the customer base and grow market share.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, developers, brokers, and other business partners to generate leads and referrals.
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Provide regular training, coaching, and support to sales staff to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service.
• Monitor and support sales activities to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates on product offerings, sales strategies, and performance.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent pre-sale and post-sale service.
• Address customer queries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
• Oversee the loan application process, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing for loan approvals.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients to promote repeat business and referrals.
• Actively identify potential areas of growth in the market for home loan products.
• Monitor the competitive landscape to ensure that the company remains competitive in pricing, features, and service offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress.
• Provide regular reports to the Regional Sales Manager on sales performance, market trends, and challenges.
• Track and manage daily sales and operations to meet business targets.
• Ensure timely submission of reports and documents as required by the management.

Preferred candidate profile:

• A bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or relevant post-graduate qualifications is a plus).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in managing home loan or mortgage sales.
• Proven experience in leading sales teams and achieving targets within the financial services or home loan industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of home loan products, including eligibility criteria, documentation, interest rates, and market trends.
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities.
• Strong sales and customer relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
