Job Description
- Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with at least 7 years specific experience in quality control in a ASME certified heavy engineering manufacturing company (pressure vessels, columns, reactors, pressure piping, heat exchangers, boiler components, storage tanks, skids etc.).
- Knowledge of ASME standards on materials, welding, NDE, PWHT etc. is a must.
- Must be familiar with metal forming, machining and manufacturing operations. Hands on experience in Excel and Word is a must.
- Good drawing reading skills, comprehension, numerical skills, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills in
- English are essential. Must be ASNT Level II certified in at least any 3 techniques: RT, PT, MT, UT, VT. Must have hands on experience in preparation of Quality Control Plan (QCP) / Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Weld Map, NDE Map, WPS / WPQR / WQT, Inward
- Goods Inspection, In-Process Inspections, Calibration of measuring and testing instruments etc. Must be able to lead a team of QC Engineers, QC Technicians and NDE Technicians.
